Job offer : Product and Community Manager H/F

Alphien bridges the gap between Asset Managers looking for robust quantitative exposure and bright minds with the talent required to design exciting indexes. Headquartered in Paris, Alphien SAS (1.75MEUR capital, RCS Créteil) has operations in Singapore and Indonesia.
The Product and Community manager will develop and nurture the European community of quants, and drive continuous improvement of the platform from a user perspective. This is a core position for the company that will entail significant managerial responsibilities, including regional general management for Europe.



• Periodically update the product and community strategic plan with the CEO, design and implement the related execution plan
• Develop a network of academic partners, including building third-party content generation partnership, and the recruitment and management of on-premise interns
• Drive the technical roadmap with the CTO with thorough analytics to establish priorities
• Manage and continuously improve the communication and behavioral information channels, fitting improvement in the general technical roadmap. This includes selection and management of the social and professional relevant media, which eventually should be a role under the product and community manager
• Organize relevant events with the community, either with industry veterans or industry partners. Marketing and derived content is of key importance; the product and community manager’s perspective on the short-term direct involvement should be one of a doer seeking to standardize and eventually distance herself from the operations
• Support the Chief Commercial Office and Business Development team in workshops with clients and prospects


• Actual experience and direct responsibility developing and managing a significant community
• Experience or deep-rooted interest for quantitative finance and/or algorithmic trading
• Exposure and credibility vis-a-vis the academic world
• Intellectual curiosity is paramount
• Excellent presentation and ability to interact with high-value decision-makers in the Asset Management industry
• Positive mindset and ability to comfortably switch between doing and strategizing
• Masters in STEM, PhD preferred


• Excellent English command
• Excellent working knowledge of R, or at least Python for data science.
• Working knowledge of the LEAN concepts, or any relevant process engineering framework
